Meath Football Team Wives and Girlfriends to attend Ladies Day at Bellewstown Races

Ladies Day at Bellewstown Races in August promises to be a very special event. A wonderful evening on the Hill coupled with a spectacular prize fund valued at €5000.00 will provide a great occasion for all the Ladies in attendance. The City North Hotel, Gormanston, sponsors of the Best Dressed Lady Competition at Bellewstown Races on Thursday 30th August 2007 have invited the wives, partners and girlfriends of the Meath Football Team to the VIP Marquee at the races on the night of the competition.

The significant others of the Management, Players and Backroom team are all guests of the hotel at the races. RTE's Kathryn Thomas will be the celebrity judge and will award the prize, which is the largest prize on offer at any racecourse this summer.

Sources in the Meath camp say "we really appreciate that City North Hotel has so generously been thoughtful to the partners of the team and we know that Ladies are really looking forward to it."

The City North Hotel Ladies Day prize, valued at €5000.00, will attract a lot of entries from the northeast area and beyond. "There are a number of ladies who enter all the best dressed competitions at race meetings around the country" said Kathryn Thomas. She went on to explain "My job will be to pick the fifteen finalists and then end up with an eventual winner. All the finalists will be invited into the City North VIP marquee with the Meath Team wives, partners and girlfriends to attend a special reception. Then the winner will be presented with their prizes in the parade ring. As fashion ambassador for Horse Racing Ireland I am sincerely looking forward to my visit to Bellewstown and to meeting all the Ladies on 30th August."
